When can we rehearse?

Wedding clients may rehearse free of charge the morning or afternoon of the wedding. If clients want to rehearse on a date other than the wedding date, they may reserve an available weekday the week of the wedding (other than Friday) at a charge of $150/hr.

When can we decorate?

We let you have access to the space the morning of your event as soon as we can have it cleaned and ready for you, generally at least by 10am.

What facilities are available for caterers?

There is a downstairs kitchen with a commercial stove, commercial sink, counter space, and a refrigerator. If there annex lounge/bridal suite is rented, there is an upstairs kitchen with stove, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher and some counter space.

Can you help me find a caterer?

We are happy to give you referrals to our favorite caterers.

Can you help my find a DJ?

Yes

Do you have a parking lot? What are your parking options?

We do not own our own lot. However, we have 2 nearby parking lot rental options that work very well for our clients and their guests.

What are the room dimensions?

The main Sanctuary room is approximately 46′ x 40′.

What is needed to reserve The Sanctuary?

Sign the rental agreement and pay the deposit, which is 1/2 of the rental amount

Does the Sanctuary have wheelchair access?

No

What is expected with cleanup?

All that we require is that the client dispose of all the remaining food and drink items at the end of the event and take the garbage to the outside cans.

Is The Sanctuary air conditioned?

Yes

What comes with rentals?

For ceremonies – pew seating for 30, 120 wooden folding chairs and access to PA system. For seated receptions – all tables, serving tables, chairs, white cloth tablecloths, access to PA system and catering kitchen. For cocktail receptions – 10 high top tables, serving tables, white cloth tablecloths, 4 ottomans, some lounge seating, access to PA system and catering kitchen. Food and drink are not included.

Can we use whatever caterer we want?

Yes. We have no restrictions on catering.

Are there restrictions on decorating?

Yes. All candles must be contained in glass votives, lanterns, or hurricanes. Nothing is permitted to be hung from ceiling of Sanctuary or windows. No nails or screws are permitted or anything which may take finish or paint off of surfaces.

Can I get a tour of the venue?

Sure! We do walk-throughs by appointment generally any weekday before 3pm, Wednesday evenings, and weekends as the space is available. Call us to set up a time – 859.982.9887.

Can I load in items the day before the wedding or have access the day before the wedding to pre-set up for the wedding?

If the date is available, you may rent the space for the minimum ceremony price for the date.

How many hours do we get for our event?

4 hours for parties/receptions. If you’re doing a wedding ceremony and reception, you get a total of 5 hours. Wedding ceremonies are allotted 3 hours. As stated above however, the wedding party gets full day access for rehearsal, decorating, setup, and photographs.
